Travel and Arrival
How to get to MIT
The MIT visitors guide has directions for getting to MIT from the airport, via public transportation and by car. The center is building W31 on the MIT campus map. Our street address is;
120 Massachusetts Avenue (corner of Mass Ave. and Vassar St.)
Building 31, Room 310
Cambridge, MA 02139
Where to park
Parking in Cambridge and Boston can be expensive and hard to find. Whenever possible, park your car at the hotel, and use public transportation to get to the MIT campus. If you must drive to the campus, on- and off-street parking is available for a fee, but most public parking is not very close to the center of the MIT campus. More parking information is available at the campus map website
Where to eat
During
your course, light refreshments are generally provided in the morning
and afternoon. Please refer to the course description to see if lunch
will be provided. Unless otherwise noted, meals are not included in
tuition.

What to wear
Typical attire for the courses is business casual or casual. Weather in
New England is quite variable and we recommend checking a weather forecast before packing.

classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m., with short breaks in
the morning and afternoon and an hour break for lunch. Participants

classroom use if required for the course.
Continuing Education Credit
Earn Continuing Education Units
In
addition to receiving a certificate of completion, MIT Center for Real
Estate participants may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Units
for each course are calculated based on learning contact hours. Each
of the Center for Real Estate courses earn 1.5 units.
To earn CEUs
- Review the learning objectives (see course description)
- Attend both course sessions
- Provide feedback on your learning experience by completing and returning an evaluation survey on the last day of class.
Upon
completion of the course and receipt of the feedback form, you will
receive an email letter from MIT’s Professional Institute
(http://web.mit.edu/mitpep/about/) awarding CEUs.
The
Center for Real Estate has partnered with MIT’s Professional Institute,
an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing
Education and Training (IACET), an organization that evaluates programs
according to strict, research-based criteria and guidelines.
To
understand whether or not these CEUs may be applied toward professional
certification, licensing requirements, or other required training or
continuing education hours, please consult your training department or
licensing authority directly.
