MIT overnight campus housing
***PLEASE NOTE THAT HOUSING REGISTRATION DOES NOT BEGIN UNTIL AFTER MAY 15, 2008***
As
an alternative, MIT offers overnight on-campus housing in the Warehouse
(graduated dormitory). For reservations and more information please
refer to the MIT Housing. When booking use the Department Sponsored Guest rate of $94.00 per night.
Each unit is individually air conditioned and contains a
private bath. These
have very nice showers, but are without
tubs.
There is a full compliment of furniture including a double bed.
Linens are
changed twice weekly and fresh towels are provided
daily.
There is also a galley kitchen area. This contains a stove with
oven, under
counter refrigerator and a microwave oven. Utensils, dish ware
and pans are
not included.
The exercise room is not available to
guests.
The front desk is staffed 24 hours each day. When you
arrive should the desk
person be away from the desk you may dial 3-1500
from the lobby phone and someone
will come to meet you. You
will receive your room assignment, a key
and a building access
card.
There is shuttle bus service from the dorm to several points about
the MIT
campus. Schedules are available at desk.
Also there is a
supermarket a short walk away, perhaps a distance of about
4 or 5
blocks.
